Bid Writer
Morgan Hunt is working exclusively with Alzheimer's Society to recruit for three Bid writers to join the dynamic Business development team. The perfect candidate needs to have exceptional writing abilities and who has written tenders before to a high quality while liaising with stakeholders. This permanent London based role can be worked Hybrid or remote and is paying up to 38,706; London living or remote working expenses are added on top of salary.
Key Responsibilities of the New Bid Writer:

Responsible for following all business development control and risk management. Utilising expertise around standard contract terms and conditions, ensure services proposed meet the requirements of the contract.

- Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and processes with legal and finance to effectively manage risks associated with opportunities and feed into the income risk register to support accurate financial reporting for contracted income
- Responsible for the project management and production of high quality tender submissions and funding applications in conjunction with Heads of Service, Operations Managers, Regional Finance Business Partners, Legal, and the Bid Managers
- Establish external networks of potential partners/subcontractors to facilitate decisions and opportunities where the society is unable to bid as a lead/sole provider, negotiating Memorandums of understand and completing due diligence prior to tender release.
Previous Skills and Experience of the New Bid Writer:
- Demonstrate writing and proof reading skills and experience of wiring and submitting successful tenders or funding applications.
- Experience of costing and pricing services with a commercial mind-set and understanding
- Ability to quickly establish new working relationships to effectively lead a team to execute and deliver short - term projects within required timescales.
- Experience of leading contract negotiation with partners in relation to agreement of terms and services for subcontracting agreements
