Are you a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised environment? Honeypot Furniture Outlet Ltd is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner at Honeypot Furniture, you will play a vital role in ensuring our showroom, office spaces, and facilities remain spotless, creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and staff.
Normal responsibilities will include:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces to maintain their appearance.
- Clean and sanitise toilets, ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies.
- Empty rubbish and recycling bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in storage areas and supply rooms.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- You may also be asked to perform duties outside of your normal duties.
The job requirements are as follows:
- Proven experience as a cleaner, preferably in a commercial or retail setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Good physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices.
- Flexibility to work early hours as required.
- Own transport to our location (no public transport available)
Salary £18,000.00 to £22,000.00 per annum (pro-rata)
Hours of work Permanent, Full-time or Part-time, Working hours open to discussion.
Please note that, due to our location, no public transport is available to our site.
